We have a T5120 SPARC with two 300 gigabyte disks. The application we got the server for says the following in their requirements: &amp;#39;To improve DB performance and to maximize I/O, configure a dedicated disk array with the following setup: 1) DMP (dynamic multipathing and, 2) Raid 0 (striping).&amp;#39; Currently it&amp;#39;s unclear to me if ZFS has a true raid 0 option. In your opinion (I know this should be a comment post) what is the optimal ZFS configuration for my 2 disks given the application demands?</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/2378774147174644158/7519815210140924241/comments/default/8771978521506151197'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/2378774147174644158/7519815210140924241/comments/default/8771978521506151197'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://blog.sartek.net/2010/06/closer-look-at-zfs-vdevs-and.html?showComment=1321571366856#c8771978521506151197' title=''/><author><name>Geo</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/02526129890968462409</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://blog.sartek.net/2010/06/closer-look-at-zfs-vdevs-and.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2378774147174644158.post-7519815210140924241' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/2378774147174644158/posts/default/7519815210140924241' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-470243075'/></entry></feed>
